About North Fork Native Plants
North Fork Native Plants is a wholesale plant nursery located in Mattituck, New York on the North Fork of Long Island. For more than 20 years, we have specialized in local native plants and supply stock to some of the best local landscapers, land trusts and other Long Island nurseries.
North Fork Native Plants is a wholly owned subsidiary of MGD Horticultural services owned by a local family. We take pride in our relationships with our wholesale customers providing them with excellent quality native plants and a dependable source and service. Are you open to the public?No. We exclusively supply native plants to our wholesale customers such as Nurseries, Land Trusts, Local Towns and Landscape professionals.

Do I have to sign up to the website?Yes. We are moving towards a more automated system where you can see what plant stock we have, place your order request and then have the price and inventory confirmed. To begin you should create your account with your email and a password, and confirm your company name, billing address and contact information. Then you can begin to shop the store. Once you have created your account you will see our plant pages. Add items with the preferred plant size and number of plants to your cart. Review the cart and make any amendments . Then submit your request to us. We will review your request ASAP- and will review the inventory to make sure your order can be fulfilled as requested. If we can't, we will be in touch. We will then send an invoice to you to the email associated with your account. Please check spam if you don't see it within 24 hours. We will then set aside the inventory for you to pick up and will send you an email when the order is ready for pick up. Orders placed during business hours will typically be ready the next day. If you place an order outside of regular business hours, the processing will take place the next day and you should await communication via email- both an invoice and your pick up confirmation. We hope this process will remove some of the back and forth of trying to reach personnel by phone and ensures more accuracy in inventory and pricing in our order flow.

How do I order and pay?Shop like you would at any online store by adding plants, plant size and amounts required to your online basket. View your cart and instead of checking out and paying your are submitting an order request for pricing and inventory. We will check pricing and availability asap and provide you with a firm invoice via the email you created on your account. Please review the invoice and pay with cash/check at pick up (unless you have made a prior arrangement with North Fork Native Plants. We will set aside the inventory for you and then send you a "ready for pickup" email. At pick up, you can pay for the plants via cash or check or if we know you, we can invoice you as per typical terms for your company - typically between immediately and 15 days net.

Where do I pick up?Once you have accepted your order with pricing and inventory, we will set aside your plants for pick up or may deliver in some cases by arrangement.
